Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 
The official source of information for the major man-made lakes in Oklahoma and southern Kansas. The Corps runs large numbers of campgrounds at lakes in Oklahoma (and across the nation). Click on the Recreation and Lakes links at the left side of their page. They have excellent lake maps in PDF format.

Little Rock District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 
The official source of information for the man-made lakes in southern Missouri and most of Arkansas. The Corps runs large numbers of campgrounds at lakes across the nation.

The official source of information for the man-made lakes in much of Missouri and Northern Kansas. The Corps runs large numbers of campgrounds at lakes across the nation.

National Directory U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Districts 
Looking for lake recreation resources in another region? The Corps is organized by watershed boundaries, not state boundaries. Lakes in any one state by be managed by more than one district office. Visit this page at the national headquarters web site to look up lakes in other districts by state.

Corps Lakes Gateway 
This is a good general web site that is actually the parent of the Corps of Engineers directory page above. This level has state maps that show locations for Corps recreation lakes. There are lots of links, from state and state tourism sites, other Corps district sites, to the Corps lake web sites themselves. Even in these days of GPS navigation, you should never go into strange country without a map and compass. mytopo.com offers high-quality, custom topo maps and super-sharp color aerial photos in various sizes and scales. Waterproof paper is available, and GPS waypoints can be added to these maps.

Lowrance Electronics 
Maker of hand-held and dash-mounted GPS receivers and mapping software, plus fishing sonar. Lowrance developed the world's first sportfishing sonar (or "fish-finder") in 1957. In 1996, Lowrance introduced the industry's first 12 channel GPS receiver sold for under $200. Their international headquarters are here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Digital Wildlife Management Area Atlas 
This is incredible. Free geo referenced map of the entire state of Oklahoma, with boundaries and details of public hunting areas. Includes topo contours, many streets and roads and  now with color aerial photos! Move your mouse pointer over the map and you can look up the latitude and longitude of almost any spot in Oklahoma.
