Ever since I was a little girl, my Mother always
told me about an aunt of hers that was an
Indian Princess... Like many descendants
of the Seven Tribes, she had lost contact with
her over the years..I decided that my mother
would have been a true and beautiful
Indian Princess, so I took the liberties of adding
the Indian attire to the photo shown to the left ..
this is the result...

‘ ELEANOR & CLIFFORD ‘‘
This is an image of a very sweet
couple, named Eleanor & Clifford...
One of the reasons that I enjoyed
painting this portrait so much, even
tho it was rather ironic, and this
couple lived several hundreds of
miles away, was that Eleanor looked
exactly like one of my sisters, and
Clifford looked exactly like one of
my brother-in-laws.
They say everyone has a twin ....
somewhere.....

I met this fine gentleman at our local
grocery store...
As I walked toward the entrance,
I noticed him sitting on a bench,.
and his little companion, a white
Poodle, was laying at his feet...
I just couldn’t resist..I asked him
if I could pay him for a few reference
photos of him and his companion...
He could not understand why I or anyone
would pay him for ‘posing ‘ , but nonetheless,
he agreed...this image is part 1 of the result of our agreement....part 2 will be his little
companion, which I hope to have ready to view within the next few months...
This was not in our ‘ agreement ‘, but this fine gentleman will receive part of any profits
that come from the sales of these particular images....

I drew this Pencil Drawing for a
friend when I was in Junior
High School...about 30 years later,
she let me know that it still
hung on her wall to this day...
she was kind enough to let
me get a scan of it.....As you will
see in the next image, this
friend and her horses are still going
just as strong as ever.....

As I just mentioned previously, my friend
and her horses are still going just as
strong as ever....
she has been barrel-racing since before
Junior High School, and has won several
Barrel Racing Championships......
She has won several National Barrel Racing Championships in the past few years...
I just finished this Pencil Portrait
a few months ago... It is a pre-sketch for an oil painting I will be painting in the
next few months....

Since these last two images of ‘ The Barrel Racer’s Horses ‘ were placed in this Gallery, my friend suffered
an aneurysm of the brain.........
Only 1 out of every 10 people live thru the surgery which she required.Our prayers are with her & her family..
..My friend is recovering now after being hospitalized for 6 weeks.......one half % of the sales of the physical
prints (due to printing costs) and three fourths % of the download prints (due to web costs) from these two
images or prints from the future oil painting will be donated to my friend in an effort to relieve some of her
financial burdens which have and/or may arise......... We are not asking for donations, but if you are
interested in making donations, you are welcome to contact us....
