NWRA
is a U.S. non-profit organization founded in 1982
and is headquartered in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The
NWRA is dedicated to training, exchanging information,
and networking wildlife rehab professionals. The NWRA
also has many international members, and has a US
national symposia early in the year, usually
February/March. Their symposia also changes cities and is
typically hosted by a local rehab organization. They have introductory training at the
symposia and publish "The Minimum Standards for
Wildlife Rehabilitation" co-written in cooperation
with the IWRC, and the comprehensive handbook of
wildlife rehabbing "NWRA's Principles of Wildlife
Rehabilitation".
