About Us
 The United Methodist Church of Glen Rose has a
rich and long history. While the Methodist church has not always been
“united”, the policy of “open hearts,
open doors, open minds” is not new. As early as 1882, records
of a physical meeting place for the church were created. In an except
from a wonderful account of the church’s history by Ms. O.C
.Cox, “The old Methodist church was built about 1882, built
by a union aid society. Aunt Lula Milam was the leading Methodist
woman. All denominations held services in this building.”
 Indeed to this day, all
people are welcome to worship God at the First United Methodist Church
of Glen Rose. For information concerning any of the programs available
