Conference Youth Events! Check out the youth bulletin
board for additional information. Rejuvenate! Senior
High One Day Event. Saturday,
September 27 from 10:00 until 5:00. Woodway UMC,
Waco. $15. The deadline to sign up for this event
is Wednesday, September 10. Sign-up on the youth
bulletin board and
have your money and release form turned in to me
by September 10. Excite! Junior High One Day Event.
Saturday,
November 8 from 10:00 until 5:00. Woodway UMC, Waco.
$15. Sign-up on the youth bulletin board and have
your money and release form
turned in by Wednesday, October 22. There will be
no youth on Sunday, August 31.
Relax and enjoy the holiday weekend with your
family! Beginning in September we will have a new
youth schedule. Sundays we will meet from 6:00 until
7:30 for food, games, and youth worship.
Wednesdays we will meet from 6:30 until 7:30 for
Bible study. All youth, 6th-12th grade,
are invited to come on Sundays and Wednesdays. Don’t
forget to invite a friend! The new
schedule starts on Wednesday, September 3! I would
like to invite parents of youth and
adults interested in working with our youth group
to a Youth Workers Meeting on Sunday, September
7 at 5:00 in the youth room. We will be discussing
our fall schedule and the direction of our youth
group. Our youth group is
in need of volunteers so please plan to attend and
see how you be a part of our youth!
Be a part of the Glen Rose Youth and get involved
in 5th Quarter! Join us at Glen Lake Camp after
the home football games for basketball,
volleyball, movies, and music. Friday, September
5 from 10:00 until 12:00 is our first 5th
Quarter of the year!

School Unit
The children kicked off a new year and
new unit with a "Send up Your Prayers"
activity. They used bottle stomp rockets
and paper airplanes to send up the prayers.
The unit "Teach Us How to Pray"
will continue until October. Come and
join us!
